47 year old woman. Front seat driver in side-impact motor vehicle crash. Right sided chest injuries and possible pelvic fracture. Alert and talking at scene. Chest X-ray shown below (click to enlarge).

Primary Survey
Airway: Patent
Breathing: RR 24/min. Oxygen Saturation 96%
Trachea central. Clinically multiple rib fractures on right side.
Equal air entry bilaterally.
Circulation: Heart Rate 120, BP 110/70.
Neck veins not distended. Bruising over right pelvis
Dysfunction: Alert and orientated. Moving all limbs.
Exposure: Right open tibial fracture
