'At 17:28 a motorcyclist travelling at around 70mph/110kph lost control of his bike and went into the back of a stationary vehicle on the side of the motorway. He was apparently thrown some 15-20 metres from the bike. The telephone caller described severe destruction to the car & bike, and that the patient was very distressed (as was the caller). No further information is available as yet. A paramedic rapid-response unit has been dispatched as well.'
