Trauma.Org accepts advertisements for trauma position openings for all medical and allied specialities related to Trauma Surgery & Critical Care.

To post an advertisement, select the 'Submit an Appointment' option at right. All position announcements are kept on the web site for 3 months, or until the post is filled, whichever comes first. New job positions are also highlighted on the Trauma.Org front page (seen by 40,000 users per month) and posted to the 2700-strong membership of the trauma-list discussion group. This service is free to hospitals and non-profit institutions, but we ask for a minimum donation of £100 ($190) to Trauma.Org if advertisements are placed through recruitment consultancies. Trauma Program: • 373-bed facility • Level II Trauma (ACS Consultation 2/2017& Verification 2/2018) • 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 30 min response (rarely called in) • Mid-level providers on 2 per day • All cases come through the ED (no elective cases) • ED Annual Volume: 108k (55 beds) *No peds under 15 yrs • In 2015, there were 1241 trauma admissions & 2504 trauma activations (30% car accidents, 30% falls, 7% penetrating) • 24/7 neuro call, 24/7 Interventional Cardiothoracic, 6 vascular surgeons, Hospitalists, Intensivists (not surgical), DaVinci Robot • $400 million hospital expansion includes addition of 200 hospital beds & 4 new OR suites (2 are hybrid) • HCA partnering with RCH to create a new Medical School (IM residents in 2016, GS in 2018)

Trauma Surgeon Criteria: • Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred; ATLS Required (ACLS needed if moderate sedation is requested) • Willingness to work at on-site clinic for post-op follow up visit (Wednesday afternoons)
