Trauma.Org accepts advertisements for trauma position openings for all medical and allied specialities related to Trauma Surgery & Critical Care.

To post an advertisement, select the 'Submit an Appointment' option at right. All position announcements are kept on the web site for 3 months, or until the post is filled, whichever comes first. New job positions are also highlighted on the Trauma.Org front page (seen by 40,000 users per month) and posted to the 2700-strong membership of the trauma-list discussion group. This service is free to hospitals and non-profit institutions, but we ask for a minimum donation of £100 ($190) to Trauma.Org if advertisements are placed through recruitment consultancies. Terra Haute Regional Hospital is a 278-bed community-based medical center with comprehensive medical and surgical programs. Terre Haute Regional Hospital was recently named one of the nation’s top performers on key quality measures by The Joint Commission. In 2004, Terre Haute Regional Hospital completed the final phase of a $40 million new construction and renovation project. The scope of the project included the construction of a two-story tower for our ER and ICU.

Trauma Program • Level II Trauma application in process • 12 hr shifts, in-house coverage • All cases come through the ED

*Board Certified in General Surgery (required)

*­Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care (strongly preferred)

*Active state medical license in Indiana or willingness/ability to obtain IN license within a reasonable timeframe

*All trauma and acute care surgeries for emergent patients arriving through the ED

*­Level II­ Trauma Center

*­Schedule is 7 days on/7 days off, 26-weeks per year, ­7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (12-hour shifts with call nightly)­ Clinic is one day per week for follow up care
