Trauma Care India is established with the aim of improving early management and hence outcomes after serious trauma under the guidelines of Primary Trauma Care Foundation (UK). This is a non profit organization registered with government of India and is training doctors, nurses and paramedics in the pre-hospital & hospital management of accident victims. Since the first course inaugurated by the Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dixit in September 2005, PTC (Delhi) have conducted 25 PTC providers & instructors courses and have trained number of doctors, nurses, paramedics and first responders.

6 courses are planned every year in Delhi and in addition courses are planned for other cities and medical colleges in India and abroad. PTC (Delhi) will help the PTC (U.K) in conducting several courses in China from October 2010.

Most of the New Delhi courses are held at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, where most of the faculty practices. PTC courses are conducted on behalf of Trauma Care India and Indian Head Injury Foundation. We also have students and doctors from across the world come here for electives, (some of whom have come after reading about us at trauma.org).
