The Unit
Fellowship Program
Clinical Responsibilities
Instruction at the institutions will offer the orthopaedic trauma fellow an intense exposure to fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum. The fellow will work closely by the Director, spending a majority of time treating referral patients at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan. One to two days per week are dedicated to patient care and surgery for the USC service. In addition to the treatment of traumatic pelvic and acetabular fractures, the fellow will gain exposure to patients requiring pelvis or hip osteotomy, as well as those requiring reconstruction of bone defects following hip arthroplasty.
