The Unit

Description

Fellowship is based out of a 750 bed, Level I Trauma Center with a very active helicopter transport service. 2,000 trauma admissions per year, of which the majority of the trauma admissions (80%) are height velocity blunt traumas.

Fellowship Program

Clinical Responsibilities

The fellow will have increasing levels of clinical responsibilities for the care of the orthopaedic injuries in these patients.

Research Opportunities

Clinical research using Orthopaedic Trauma or General Trauma registry. Involvement in new and ongoing prospective clinical studies. Orthopaedic biomechanic lab available.

Salary

$36,000

Applicant Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited orthopaedic residency, Eligible for an Ohio medical license.
