850 bed unit with 2,000 trauma admissions per year (80% blunt, 20% penetrating).

Fellowship Program

Clinical Responsibilities

One year in length On call at least 1 in 4 Dedicated time with orthopaedic traumatologists, Dr. M. Bosse, Dr. S. Sim, Dr. J. Kellam.

Research Opportunities

Clinical-Functional outcome as applied to trauma. Educational-Advancement of teaching in trauma through multi-video distant home training. Basic-Bone physiology, histomorphology, cell culture, computer data base, development biomechanics. Must produce one paper in year ready for publication.

Applicant Requirements

Have completed an acceptable orthopaedic training program. Three references, at least one from orthopaedic traumatologist in program where trained and demonstrate a desire to be actively involved in ortho trauma as a career.
