1800 trauma admissions per year, 65% blunt. 20 SICU Beds.

Research Activities

ARDS, Immunosuppression and wound healing. Violence prevention with
the California Wellness Foundation with opportunity to complete an MPH
over 18 months

Fellowship Program

Clinical Responsibilities

On Call 1:4 with attending back up. 600-700 resuscitations/year and 130-150 operations.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching and Conference responsibilities. Participate in quality assurance and system components of the trauma center.

Certifications

RRC Critical Care Certification

Salary

$40,000 - $50,000

Applicant Requirements

American Board of Surgery qualified or eligible. Finished general surgery residency. California license or eligibility. Established as a teacher of
medical students and residents.
