Military Surgery Conference 2009
Fareham, Portsmouth, UK
April 23, 2009 - April 24, 2009
The annual military surgery conference attracts delegates interested in trauma, particularly in the military arena but also civilian colleagues. This multinational conference should appeal to all surgical disciplines and allied specialities [such as emergency medicine, critical care and anaesthesia]. There is an active free-paper section, so abstract submission is welcomed. For the first time this year posters may be submitted by nursing colleagues and other professions allied to medicine. The distinguished surgical guest is Colonel Leon Moores, formerly head of Neurosurgery at Walter Reed who will deliver the annual Guthrie Lecture. The subject of the lecture is post-traumatic craniofacial reconstruction. There is an expert symposium on the second day of Conference. The annual dinner [23 April] is a social highlight and spouses and guests are welcome.
