Patient brought through the emergency room after being thrown from a horse and subsequently kicked in the chest. This chest x-ray was taken as part of the primary survey, followed by rapid insertion of a chest tube. The image shows known scoliosis and the trachea following the line of the columna. The subsequent image shows the trachea lying to the right side of the columna after insertion of the chest tube.
