Grade 3 pancreas injury - distal pancreatectomy (spleen preserving)

14 year old boy, fell off bicycle and then abdomen run over by a car. By the next morning had abdominal pain and vomiting. Amylase and WBC slightly increased.  CT showed pancreatic transection, ERCP contrast leak from main pancreatic duct.

Spleen preservice distal pancreatectomy.  Splenic vein is seen with clips on pancreatic venous drainage vessels.
