Pancreatic transection following blunt trauma

Major Olliver Nunez-Cantu MD, Military Central Hospital, Mexico City

A pancreatic transection after a 4m fall during military training. Superior mesenteric vessels were observed at the level of parenchymal disruption. A distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy were performed.
