If she in medical school, it must go through the Dean's office, not my
office

Dr Vallee:

Having a spent fair amount of time in the Big Easy (B.K.- Before
Katrina), and knowing how the City has finally started recovering....AND
having been associated with the LSU Medical Center System from 1987 to
2005 in one form or another (not to mention corresponding with Dr,
McSwain on this list for over 15 years now....)

I believe that your daughter will have a sterling experience during her
rotation with Drs McSwain, Duchenne, et al.

Hi,
My daughter wants to be a trauma surgeon and I noted you are located in
New Orleans. I have sent out a request to the list serv however since
we live in Louisiana I would like to extend the request personally to
you.
Thanks for your consideration. Here is the request....

Hi all I have a rising freshman at Columbia interested in becoming a
trauma surgeon. She was inspired by her "uncle" John Pryor. Her high
school has "May project" where she is to do a two week externship in
something of interest. If any trauma surgeon can mentor/proctor her it
would be appreciated. Locally our general surgeons do trauma call and
we do not have a local fellowship program.
