Hate to be trouble, could you pass along the type of On Q you use?  Apparently there are several types.

We place them percutaneously as soon as the pt is stable. Local plus a little versed at most. No more complex than tunneling a portacath. Near immediate relief if placed right. Honestly, I feel bad for not learning how to place them sooner. Data from Texas looks good, but we are collecting our own.
