We, and every senior trauma surgeon I know has seen at least one severe unstable ligament injury with normal CT. Rebuttle question: How do you treat thoracic aortas: clamp & sew or bypass? Most bypass because of lawyers. When you get your iatrogenic spinal injury,...... Also, in regards to CTs at the outside hospital. Our radiologists dont like to read them as they dont get paid and may be liable for reading poor quality scans.
