George--

INTRUIGING question-- and of interest to me. I searched the NHTSA webite
http://nhtsa.gov/ and found a lot of hits to the query, but not a definitive
good answer.

I often use cruise control on the highway. Exactly one year post-bilateral
knee replacement, I find driving with cruise control a lot more comfortable.
I am still vigilant to the traffic flow yet wonder if I am really as aware--
or safe. Let us know what you learn, regardless.
