Wow, there's a couple of things that, if they are the standard, we just aren't doing. The biggies for me are 1. Steroids. Hasn't this been debunked? 2. MAP >= 90 for 7 days in patients with fracture? It doesn't (unlike the steroids) mention SCI as an indication therefore it seems they're doing it for everyone with a fracture. Anyone have much evidence for this? 3. Plain films with CT only in suspicious areas for patients with neuro deficit. (section 3.1 and 3.2) Yes they're getting an MRI but this seems weird to me.
