Masimo PVI

I am looking for anyone who has any first hand experience with Masimo's PVI
(Pleth Variability Index) technology, especially as it pertains to the
trauma patient, or other sick surgical patient, ie hypovolemic/hemorrhagic
shock. How about other shock states ie distributive? What are your opinions
on their Hb monitoring, especially in the above patient subset?
