Keith: I don't know of any, never ran into it during residency (with over 500 deliveries), can't find anything about it on Medscape or MedLine, and my favorite High Risk OB doc has never heard of it. Her only guess was a pre existing condition (elastic tissue disorder such as Ehlos-Danlers or a coronary artery aneurysm with dissection of same). Pericardial effusion, rarely. Pericarditis, occasionally, especially with a viral syndrome. I'm not on CCM-L right now. anything from those savants? ck In a message dated 9/26/2009 20:30:57 Central Standard Time, lambrrt at gmail.com writes: What relationship is there if any between childbirth and acute hemopericardium? Has this been described? What are the potential causes? Keith -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/index.php?/community/
