DVT Prophylaxis in head injury

Maybe, for the very rare high risk patient, but otherwise a complex  
and expensive solution to a non problem for day to day use. Heparin is  
antithrombotic not thrombolytic, so if there Is good haemostasis even  
48 hr is prob too long to wait but works for us.
