Thanks Ron,I'm not an expert but Mr Tsvangirai is the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe. He has lead a long and sustained campaign against long term President (dictator) Robert Mugabe and paid a heavy personal price having been arrested on multiple occasions, beaten by security forces. Many people close to him have been injured or killed - eg his wife and son, although not in politically related violence - and in my opinion he would be a worthy recipient. There's a good summary of his life at that well known repository of information, wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_Tsvangirai All the best to the list Paul On Wed, Oct 14, 2009 at 9:12 PM, Gross, Ronald < Ronald.Gross at baystatehealth.org> wrote: > Paul, > Please enlighten us.... > Ron > Typed (poorly) with my thumbs on my Blackberry! > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: trauma-list-bounces at trauma.org <trauma-list-bounces at trauma.org> > To: Trauma-List [TRAUMA.ORG] <trauma-list at trauma.org> > Sent: Wed Oct 14 09:09:06 2009 > Subject: Re: Recognition for (Peace) Performance > > I'm prepared to run the risk of a positive contribution to the list by > actually giving an answer rather than asking more questions. > On Wed, Oct 14, 2009 at 6:17 PM, Pret Bjorn <p.bjorn at tds.net> wrote: > > > Still haven't answered my question: who did MORE in 2008 than Obama? > > > > Morgan Tsvangirai > > All the best > > Paul Bailey > Western Australia > -- > trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG > To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: > http://www.trauma.org/index.php?/community/ > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email communication and any attachments may > contain confidential and privileged information for the use of the > designated recipients named above.
