The deadline for nomination was February 1, 2009, less then two weeks since his swearing in. The first page of the first chapter of the Obama Presidency wasn't even written yet. Alot can happen in the next three years....as long as Iran doesn't bomb Israel, Iraq doesn't move forward with their nuclear plans, Afghanistan doesn't completely collaspe. Who knows what's going to happen in N. Korea, India or Pakistan. Will Israel and Valentine heat up? The issues in Africa. Who forsaw the change in direction of world events on September 10, except the .3% of those involved in monitoring trends in terrorism? Brian M. Carney You won't find anyone on the List who agrees with you more. But having said that, I'd recommend that further discussions on the matter be had off-line. Except in the most obtuse terms, relating this news to trauma is a real stretch.
