Permit me to say few words with regards to exposure and immunity It is true the slum dwellers who are exposed to insects, bacteria and other worms have resistance. It is true that people from cleaner countries are less exposed and when they are exposed they get violent response. It is also true that strains differ and one from the 3rd world might not have been exposed to that particular strain or the dose is so huge that his antibodies are not sufficient to handle the enemy. It is like trained army and untrained army. Casualties are there on both sides in war Dr.A.R.Reddy SKS Neuro Hospitals Mobile: 9849018017 --- On Sun, 3/5/09, trauma-list-request at trauma.org <trauma-list-request at trauma.org> wrote: From: trauma-list-request at trauma.org <trauma-list-request at trauma.org> Subject: trauma-list Digest, Vol 71, Issue 3 To: trauma-list at trauma.org Date: Sunday, 3 May, 2009, 4:30 PM Send trauma-list mailing list submissions to trauma-list at trauma.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://list.mistral.net/mailman/listinfo/trauma-list or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to trauma-list-request at trauma.org You can reach the person managing the list at trauma-list-owner at trauma.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of trauma-list digest..."
