Third world... interesting definition.. May be Third world is more a political definition: Capitalistic world, communist world and the other counties: Third world. I have seen poor´s men slums/huts in the middle of Paris, in London, in Madrid...where I live in Caracas the surrounding hills are populated by poor´s men slums. 25 years ago when I lived in L.A. there where run down apartments in the east side of town; In the '60 in Manhattan, N.Y. there where called ghettos and where inhabitant mostly by african american or latino immigrants. Poverty is a scorch for any society and is not because of "the poor people". Some countries have more poverty than others (in my believe) mainly because of the lack of well structured goverment policies, other countries as in the USA, U.K. etc. have a better organization. But even organized countries have now a bigger population in the poverty level, growing rapidily and may have a health impact sooner or latter. By the way, normally everyone washes their hands even in the Third world even sometimes with soap ;-)) Regards Manuel Sotelo Caracas D.C. Man You guys are wimps In third world countries they hardly wash their hands .... their hands with soap Or ... hot water And They have great resistances And hardly contribute to disease transmissions Charles (tongue firmly placed i cheek) Remember: what does not kill you (or others) makes you stronger Note You can not fully cleaned your hands There Is the true low exposure route ----- Original Message ---- From: Christos Giannou <x.giannou at gmail.com> To: trauma-list at trauma.org Sent: Saturday, May 2, 2009 7:51:52 AM Subject: Re: H1N1 hands et al. I am a member of the McSwain school: quote The secret to good strong resistance is to never wash your hands. In that way you get a small dose of every thing and build up immunity. unquote I would add, simply, what I drink and eat. Great immunity, no asthma etc. chris giannou -- christos giannou Monemvasia Lakonia 23070 Greece tel & fax: (++30) 27320-61772 mob: (++30) 69 74 83 28 18 -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/index.php?/community/ -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/index.php?/community/
