with more and more PRCA types wearing flack jackets, face masks and  helmets, 
and many of the Junior circuits requiring same, at least for the  younger 
'rough stock' riders, things are starting to improve...very very  slowly...
 
Maybe Stetson could make a come back by adding head protection to their  
broad brimmed hats?
