Thanks Ken. To be honest the best thing you could do at the moment is move to London so you can vote in the consultation!! Everything seems to be on track (amazingly). All stakeholders, from EMS through to rehabilitation, patients, public and the judiciary (even intensivists!!) have been involved from the outset. Surgeons are driving the process. There have been a few, but remarkably few concessions to politics (clinical and otherwise) and, although we're a few hurdles away we've never been closer. We're all looking forward to the day when you can stop worrying about being in the wrong part of London when you get hit by a bus.
