Helicopter transfers, trauma-list Digest, Vol 69, Issue 1

I believe that the team out of Clarian Health (in Indianapolis....Lifeline
is the callsign for the helicopter) will return to Indianapolis via ground
ambulance with a patient if the weather closes up and prevents safe flight.
However, they only operate with a flight nurse and a flight paramedic and
occasionally (?) a resident. However, I have no first hand knowledge of
how correct this is. It is simply what I was told by a flight paramedic for
them several years back. I know the children's hospital operated by Clarian
(Riley) has a very well staffed and well equiped ground transport ambulance
for handling pediatric CC transfers as well.
