We send our sickest patients 110km by helicopter. The aircraft has to come from the receiving centre, after a little negotiation. Probably, it would be faster to send the patient by road. However, a useful specialist team comes with the aircraft. With the limited space in the helicopter and the difficulties of working in flight, my suspicion is that the safest option for many patients may be to bring the team by air then send all back to the receiving centre by road. I have never seen this done. Regards, Laurence. _________________________________________________________________ All your Twitter and other social updates in one place http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/137984870/direct/01/
