The response times is established by each individual trauma program and should be defined in your Trauma Activation plan. Most programs adhere to all necessary team members for a Trauma alert are there <30 minutes although some level 2 in urban areas have established a policy of <20 min. ACSCOT does have some recommendations for creating the Trauma Activation but it truly is individually based. M.
