The damage control press release in reply to the AP story from Shock

This has received quite a bit of publicity over the past few days. 

I find the response press release amusing. Part of the AP story was on
supplements and herbal remedies. Their response was:

"These strategies produce no harm and some patients find them to be
helpful. However, the University of Maryland Medical Center does not
give patients unproven herbal or dietary supplements. Unfortunately,
readers may have the wrong impression from the AP article."

It might as well say, "Yes, we do crazy stuff, but not 'that' kind of
crazy."
