well, the way l see it it's just a introduction to trauma management and doesn't teach them nor prepare for trauma management, which is perhaps ok for some countries, but in some junior docs are espected to have some clue on how to intitiate trauma resuscitation, and therfore in those would be appropriate to allow them to participate fully in ATLS in their final yrs of med school Ante 2009/6/1 McSwain, Norman E Jr. <nmcswai at tulane.edu> > You can find the details on the ACS website.
