The BIG SATIN? Invites the observation that your rhetoric is full of sheet. These arguments are baseless fear-mongering borrowed from the Fox morning news. Comparing public and private insurance models, unfairness and denial and hassle are increasingly associated with COMMERCIAL industry SOP. As I've said before, it's significant that other systems in industrialized nations aren't lining up for American advice on insurance. FEMA, you are well aware, was allowed to fall into corruption, disrepair and disregard under leadership seemingly assigned to the task. Another four years of neocon nitwits in charge, and the next national disaster (and healthcare, and education, and banking) would be in the hands of Halliburton. Now THERE's an idea. Otherwise, it seems to me that you and Norm and supporting the same concept. Remember, it is possible to have a government as a protector, not a provider, and in that protection, they can collect money, such as user fees, etc. and distribute those dollars to local areas for local solutions to local problems. That is done in so many areas of our society. Where the Centrist Government in our country or any others get into the personal aspects of peoples lives (religion, banking, health care, education, etc), it gets all fuzzy and inefficient. If you liked what FEMA did for the country and for individuals after Katrina, you are going to love HEALTH CARE under our centrist government in the United States. k ____________________________________________________________ You will believe your eyes!
