Thanks both for the rapid reply. I have now read the letter. So... I assume the problem is in the actual proposal, rather than in the letter itself. I am not sure from the letter itself what the problems are that will be caused to surgeons - it seems the ACS is trying to be involved when the decisions are being made. From: traumawon at hotmail.com > ...I am thinking of resigning my membership in the ACS because this letter does not represent me. Obviously those in Chicago at the ACS do not understand our practices here and the needs of the surgeons and our patients. --> So is it possible, but only if you (or others) have the time, to explain what is so wrong with HR 3200 itself that you might resign your membership for? Just a summary... Thanks. (Completely understand if this is too much or too late to explain to a non-surgeon-non-ACS-member-non-American-even...) _________________________________________________________________ Celebrate a decade of Messenger with free winks, emoticons, display pics, and more. http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/157562755/direct/01/
