Operative fixation of rib fractures

Just because a crisis starts in mid-life...  :-)Anyway I wasn't particularly
thinking about list members.  Perhaps its a UK think but there are a good
number of doctors who seem to suddenly 'acquire' a massive Ducatti, BMW or
other over-powered vehicle somewhere in their 5th or 6th decades and shortly
thereafter find themselves having all their clothes cut off and a junior
resident asking them if they can squeeze their finger!
