do you ever use Erythromycin as a prokinetic?
 
I've had a number of patients with somatic dyskinesia from  
metoclopramide...and yes, most of them also react to the phenothiazines in a  similar way.

Yes, if  I need to. First check that there is no mechanical obstruction,
correct all  electrolyte abnormalities, stop all constipating drugs, then
try all other  types of prokinetics. If all else fails - Neostigmine. Use
in standard dose  mg/kg alone, in ICU on full monitoring - risk of
dysrhythmia. If no  response - try one more time. If that does not work you
may need to try  other options.
