"The (President and all his men) doth protest too much, methinks."

Paraphrased -- From Hamlet (III, ii, 239)
[Jump to the quote in the text of the play]

Queen Gertrude (POTUS) speaks these famous words to her son, Prince Hamlet, (US Physicians) while watching a play at court. Gertrude (POTUS) does not realize that Hamlet (US physicians) has staged this play to trap her and her new husband, King Claudius (the nebulous New World health care plan), whom Hamlet suspects of having murdered his father (medical care in the US, run by physicians, and not by government).

Uh, you might be paranoid, but that doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
Ken, what is really "fishy" is the fact that with all of the media blitz, all of the promises and assurances, all of the public appearances, no one has all of the facts!

And to all I beg forgiveness for my absolutely criminal assault on Shakespeare!!

Ron (aka Prince of Darkness)

I regret that I don't share your enthusiasm for this approach. Matter
of fact, I find it somewhat disturbing.

However, what I read is the White House trying to sell a proposal,
suggesting that opposition to that proposal is generally untruthful
("Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little
inconvenient"). Now they want us to report those offering opposition to
the government.

I don't see myself as the paranoid type, but reading this brought to
mind some of the things I have read about 1930s Germany or the old
Soviet Union. I wonder if I turn in my neighbors for speaking out
against govt-sponsored health care, will I get a free pair of jeans?
