oh it does happen! I am sure many of the older list members do remember
oh so well the times where, for a day or two, almost *no* usage of their
mail account was possible due to the constipation caused by abundant
"John/Jane Doe is out of office and happily awaiting your response after
his/her holiday" messages. Literally hundreds of mails per hour!

It is the busy labor of people like Karim or Sue who work like a
sentinel and keep us from those zombie mails. Only once in a while one
of them makes it for a few ours.
