I am again reinvigorated.   Each year I return to the Trauma Mecca to renew my vows to medical intellectual stimulation and to renew my faith in surgery.   I know of no other such rich and stimulating venue than this course at Caesars Palace each year.   The lessons just keep coming and coming in a very fast pace.   Each year I learn many new and old things that change my practice.    This is the most medically and surgically cutting edge stimulation and information that I ever go to.   For those who have not enriched themselves by attending, you must do so.    Despite the economic problems of the world and many conferences being only half full, this course again had a full room.   Thank you Dr. Mattox for your dedication to the patient and the surgeons who care for them.
