he only report I saw relative to hospitals was a brief CNN piece on
hildren's.  The thrust was that they were in disaster mode, supplied and
taffed and prepared for austerity and strain.  It was helpful that the city
as otherwise emptying out, and the infrastructure was in better shape, and
he national guard was prepositioned to keep things orderly.
A bit of concerted emergency management goes a long way.  Looks like Katrina
aught lessons on every level.  Bravo, NOLA; and best of luck to our
olleagues all along the Gulf Coast.

International media reports say several hospitals are staffed and not able
o move some CC Patients. One of the20Pedi facilities has 40 or more. They
re making plans have supplies and assistance per these reports. I agree
his looks not pretty. I'm in Vienna, Austria heading home to Houston late
vening Tuesday. Not sure if that's a good thing or not even after a month
