It is simply fear - most modern medical grads are trained by some version
of the "problem based learning" philosophy and this gives them great
basics and great gaps. Also the paperwork and legal issues are much great
today than 10 years ago, even in a place like South Africa. Suggest you
speak to the educationalists - they seem to have some of the answers
