In the current issue of Men's Health with Barak Obama on the cover, there is
an article 20 Heroes of Health and Fitness. On page 188 there is a thumbnail
of Bryan Bledsoe, DO, a "53 yr old Texan who specializes in dispelling myths
in Emergency Medicine" (perhaps meaning he promotes Evidence Based
Medicine). Apparently he has been leading a crusade since 2002 to try to get
the FAA to implement stricter regulations for HEMS. He has lost 6 friends in
4 years to accidents.
