There are no hard and fast rules. If anything I think the approach
originally mooted by Bill Scwab has always worked for me:
1 Day in ICU per grade, then 1 day in a general ward per grade and 1 week
of low normal activity per grade of injury. No sport is difficult as there
is no standard.
