Yes they are. A man wrecked his 4 wheeler. Walked A MILE to get back to his camp without difficulty. Local EMS arrived and called for a helicopter. Patient awake and alert with a scalp laceration with controlled bleeding. Flown to a non trauma center, stitched up and dc'd. There was another non trauma center hospital just about 5 miles away he could have gone to with same outcome.
