I think the best recourse is to honestly contact the several state
legislators who are objecting to the misuse of helicopters (one is a former
helicopter pilot but his name escapes me at the moment and another is an
emergency physician) and see if they are willing to advocate for hearing
before the state legislature where Dr. Bass and Dr. Scalea *et al* can not
stack the deck so to speak.  THAT is where the real change will come from-
the people who control the pursestrings of Dr. Bass' beloved operation.

If we can get them to hold hearings and bring him to account publicly, real
change might be affected.  Of course the other option is to effectively
castrate the system by the legislature cutting the funding until those
behind this orchestrated litany of lies decide to play ball and stop acting
like spoiled children who have been told the might not get their way.
