Disaster in LA Area

Potential Disaster looming in LA Area   -   FIRES
 
1. Over 200 homes have been lost to the fires near Santa Barbara,  California.
 
2.   California Governor has asked for conservation of power as  fires 
threaten Power supply sources for LA
 
3.   Loss of power for LA could have devastating  consequences on 
communications, transportation, and health care.  
 
These sites are great sites as an integrated collaborative  networks.   It 
might be that hospital evacuations in the LA area are  in order.   That should 
be a decision of local  authorities.    Personnel on these.sites should NOT 
contact local  friends, but those in the regions surrounding LA (San Diego, 
Modesto,  Phoenix,  Stockton, etc. etc.   should consider how they  could be a good 
neighbor.    
 
This could represent a loss of infrastructure.
