As mentioned, Bob-- this was a spontaneous rupture-- WALKING ACROSS HIS
yard. Nothing strenuous, nor athletic-- and he'd been out of golf for
months-- because of the shoulder.

And so the "less than 2%" incidence meant the world of difference to my
friend.

And yes-- the onus is upon us to KNOW our drugs/interactions and dare I
say-- inform our patients?! If we are going to prescribe these medications,
we need to be aware of their potential problems.

I was never on the rezulin bandwagon-- reading the overseas problems and the
vioxx studies were there to scrutinize, if we looked. (Those are 2 of the
more recent debacles I recall.)
