Central Standard Time, cometomark at hotmail.com writes: Slightly annoyed with the notion that an A&E department has no part to play in the Emergency care of patients. We are all talking about those patients that need an operation, ICU care, etc, including hospitalization. While finding a bed in an ICU or hospital sometimes takes a few minutes, there is absolutely NO REASON this group of patients should stay in the A&E or the EC the one hour to 12 hours getting tests and treatments which are best given in the hospital. The EC is not an OR or an ICU or an inpatient facility. k **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489
