Dear Members,
Can I ask who is using currently any immune monitoring in polytrauma patients to:
1. better define timing secondary surgery
2. differentiate between inflammation and infection
3. prediction or earlier diagnosis of complications (ARDS, MOF, infection etc).
4. any other clinical reasons (not research)
What mediators/cytokines do you monitor, which potentially influencing your decision making?
Thanks,
Zsolt
