If it's not sensitive or proprietary, I'd be obliged for details on what people are charging for ATLS these days. We do exclusively 2-day, 16-student provider courses here, and charge $550 US, $450 for residents or extenders. This includes all course materials, meals and refreshments. We waive the fee for our own clinicians, who typically comprise about half of participants. We also usually have to "import" an instructor or two per course at a salary of $350 per day plus all reasonable expenses. All tolled, we almost break even on our courses; but things as they are, it's getting harder to eat any losses, however negligible. Plus, we'd like to generate a modest contribution for our state COT if possible. Thus, I'm thinking we might raise our fees by $100 across the board. Would this pass the straight-face test? If there are any other course coordinators on the list who would be generous enough to provide comparison figures, I'd be much obliged.
